Development must be sustainable. This includes:

• Increased knowledge through capacity building:
  Imbizi Safaris is truly dedicated to having a sustainable positive impact on its community. We train and employ local Namibians as well as offer apprenticeships to local youths whenever possible.
  
• Improved use of available resources through networking and partnerships:
  At Imbizi Safaris we know how important it is to work together to create a better way of life, that’s why we use our knowledge and available resources to support local Non Governmental Organisations (NGO’s) and community based projects.
  
• Economic viability through responsible use of resources:
  Imbizi Safaris recognises the symbiotic relationship it has with the environment. We respect the natural resources of Namibia by using water efficiently, recycling and having a responsible waste policy.
  
• Reduction of leakage through local purchasing and employment:
  At Imbizi Safaris we recognise the need to encourage the local Namibian economy as much as possible. So when candidates of equal skill and experience are available, we choose the Namibian candidate. The majority of capital expenditure and operational expenditure will take place in Namibia.
