Senior Tour Guide

Elago was born in 1975 and is a Namibian national. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Windhoek Vocational Training Centre and went on to work for the Ministry of Tourism and Environment as a Game Ranger where he was quickly promoted to Senior Game Ranger. His responsibilities included Park Management, which led to his becoming Head of Guided Walking Trails in the Waterberg Plateau Park. During his five years at the Ministry, he completed several internal Park Ranger courses. After leaving the Ministry, Elago worked as a Tour Guide for several safari companies. Throughout the course of his career, he has attended numerous guide courses and workshops and is considered amongst his peers as an highly experienced guide with an advanced level of knowledge about Namibia and its landscapes. His knowledge is one of Imbizi Safaris greatest assets and our customers will benefit from his expertise.
